i have made some backup copies of some dvd's that i own with dvd shrink 3.2 and i would to play them thru my media center edition pc and xbox media extender. do they need to be in a specific format? the file that is being played on the pc thru wmce is video_ts.ifo and plays fine. however the extender gives me an error message. the message is pretty generic, "the files needed to display are not installed or working correctly" however a wma video plays fine, but another hi-def sample does not.

any suggestions? do i need to convert the ifo file to wma and how would i do this?

thanks,
brad

this forum, xbmc, is for xbox media center, which means everyone here is using their xbox as the media extender for their windows media center edition pc, correct? is this forum for something else?
