Psp as xbmc remote

yes, yes....i have done some rigorous searching and actually found some 'possible' ways to use the psp as an xbmc remote, but it still doesn't work. im lost........and disappointed :veryangry: . any ideas or any success feats? please, post and help me out!! thanks

yes, i have done it.

it requires a webbrowser, so either update your psp to v.2, or if you are worried about losing the ability to use homebrew, then get a copy of wipeout pure or i think there is possibly a homebrew browser out now.

you will also need your xbox and psp to be on the same wireless network.

you will also need a copy of an html frontend that looks pretty on the psp. i edited a version used for palm-pilots i believe for this purpose.

oh and to be honest, it's not really worth it. it takes too long. you might as well use the normal remote. unless you are on the crapper or something.

i've done this using the tenchi no mon browser (which is apparently much faster than the wipeout one), and it works very well. i didn't use a page formatted for the psp, though, the regular xbmc webserver didn't display images. although, the formatting was pretty bad, so i'd be interested in a different remote page.
