View Full Version : Video playback pixelization
my xbox is modded with a larger hard disk - i can burn movies to it, but when i try to play them back - it will not play the movie - it gets extreme pixelization, does anybody know what to do for this?
based on the given information, i'd say it's due to the fact that you burn movies to your hdd. you really shouldn't do that.
what do you use? a flamethrower? a torch? a zippo lighter?
seriously, we can't help you if you do not provide the required information. what version of xbmc you use, what you mean by 'pixelation', your settings and a log (with loglevel 0) would be a start..

sounds like you have to recalibrate the screen while the movie is playing.
actually i'll take a guess. when you burn movies to the hdd, are you simply putting in a dvd and then copying the contents? if you do this then when you play back the results you will be trying to playback encrypted streams and you get a garbled mess. try decrypting them first on a pc and then copying the unprotected streams.
if you are not doing this, then i have no idea
