 this new timeseek using left and right on the right joypad is really annoying because half the time i try to adjust my volume i end up timeseeking. anyone know how to disable this or move it to the left joypad?
i use xbmc many many hours / day.
another problem i often have is scrolling using the triggers goes out periodically. i have several moded boxes and the bug occures regardless of xbmc version or xbox version.
i really just care about the timeseek problem for now though

just a suggestion...i personally like the timeseek feature, but it would be better if it used the progressbar to seek, its bigger so it would be easier to navigate to a certain point (or at least closer to it) and give a much cleaner feel to it in my opinion. in my opinion it would keep things more consistent.

for me there was a very simple solution to this.
i increased the deadzone settings in xboxmediacenter.xml
i think the default value in the cvs is too tight for using the stick in both axes.
maybe you should increase it so new users don't get this.
btw. cool feature this seekbar.
what about placing that in the other stick? it would be a cleaner solution and completly problem free. in fact now is odd that one stick has two funtions and the other one nothing. both features are very cool, but it is true that placing both in the same stick create a evident incopability, it is messy and simply doesn't work. there is no way to try to activate one funtion wihout accidentally activaiting the other one.
also as the other user said the deadzone is too sensitive. i find a lot of times the gamepad changing the volume alone, without any input, simply because it so sentitive. it is as any ghost try to change my sound settings.
too sensitive? nonsense
maybe for you, and then you're free to change the default values
i like the new bar its very handy esp for mp3

i fully agree, i think it would be so much more handy if the seek bar was on the left thumb stick and the volume control was on the right just like it is, or at least the option to do so. i have the same problem on a daily bases with activating the seek when i’m just trying to adjust the volume and its honestly quite annoying. everything else is awesome. every time a new version of xbmc comes out i think, how in the hell could they possibly get better than this? and then by the release of the next one you guys add something else that amazes me again. anyway thanks for the support and keep up the awesome coding. :kickass: :kickass: :kickass:
