Database offline files

i think a great feature to add to xbmc woudl be a way to database all your offline content. insert your disk of films or music, scan it, record the data, with films and music also you cna store the poters / cover art, localy for easy browsing....

you would prob need to implement some kind of user created catagory system so users can make a custom menu to clikc though with listings of all there files...
