i've noticed that spiff has done a (pizza) timer patch: http://sourceforge.net/tracker....=581840 (http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1197494&group_id=87054&atid=581840) but as my compiling skills are only up to running the batch file(!) i haven't been able to see this yet...
the kind of thing i would be after is a stopwatch where you could set the time you want it running for and after that time then a sample would be triggered.
this is because i was using my pc and foobar2k with versatimer to give me a 30 minute countdown so i can burn off some calories with my exercise bike, it'd be great to move this into the lounge with xbmc and still have all the functionality.
as i say, if this is what spiff's patch does, then apologies. it'd be great for spiff's patch to be added to the anon. cvs source *cough*!!
