i thought people here might appreciate this kind of cheap trick:

scrolling incoming files in xbmc (http://trypticon.org/space/scrolling+incoming+files+in+xbmc)

this hack replaces the xbmc skin's newsfeed with a feed which scrolls the latest downloads to appear in some machine's incoming directory.
