ok..i run mars31build
when i choose subtitle language on my img files(dvdr) some of the movies the marked language is not the chosen one. on one movie i tested (dawn.of.the.dead.2004.nordic.pal.dvdr-avalanche) the sub language was ok when i first saw this movie in january now when i was going to see it again(exact same film on my hd) i canīt even get the sub i want for this..itīs on the list but itīs not the language i want (swedish).. its 4 subs(sv,de,fi,no) and 2 of them is now the same..(the sub worked great in january)

itīs like this on many img files i have tested some is ok and some is totally wrong

hmm.. seems i might have removed the logging when it changes subs. the dvd seems to be detected properly. and you should be getting these subtitles selectable to begin with.

then, it seems your dvd isn't very well masted as these are 7 subs found in the file itself. the dvd header (ie ifo files) has some defined, but the vobfiles has others. currently, that isn't supported. i suppose i might be able to do something so you could select them. they'd still not have correct names thou.

i'd say the program you used for ripping the dvd did a butch job of it. oh, and yea this might have worked before, as then all subs (even the ones in the vobs) was displayed.
i played the img in windvd with daemon tools and under subtitle in the menu i can only find the 4 subs (da,fi,no,sv) not 7 or 8 as i can see in the log 0-7 is 8 right ;) and in windvd i can see the movie with swedish subtitle..
strange thing is subs worked perfekt on this movie in xbmc in january.
i can give you some more example where the name of the sub in the list is not what you get when you select it (only on img dvdr)
but most movies(img files) the sub is right :)
iīve installed a bulid xbmc-2005-02-01 just to test some img movies..the subtitle is correct on this build.
tried some more movies in img format that subtitle didnt work in mars builds and they work perfekt now in 02-01 build..
