i am attempting the switch to xbmc as my dash, but browsing for programs sucks. are you guys planning on implimenting hierarchy flattening such as in xbmp? it would really improve the dash function of the app.

according to others sf is like 4 days behind. i don't know if that is normal but maybe some1 could look into it.

it would be nice if i could specify hierarchy flattening in xboxmediacenter.xml for directory shortcuts under programs and files.
something like this:

you mean instead of a global flag to do it for each bookmark?
do you have situations where you only want certain bookmarks to be flattenned?

what this does it make my programs behave like evox or something so that you don't need to scroll into the directory.

with this feature i am able to flatten the games and apps bookmark and i am still able to browse c/d/e/f drive as normal (which are also bookmarked.)
yeah.. but can't you also use the my files for that?
anyhow.. i'll see about adding the feature and it is set in settings->programs, then that means it gets set globally.
we'll see if anybody else would be interested in this.

i ment bookmark flattening. i know what my programs flattening is. but bookmarks? why and how would you want that flattened.

you define bookmarks for for use in my programs. i think that is all zilvershadow was referring to... to be able to specify flattening per bookmark rather than globally.

nice job ts. i got the new build and it works great. i personally think it would not be worth setting it manually for each book mark since you can use my files for browsing folders.
how bout xbe renaming next ;-)
