Firewall?

hey!

i only recently started using xbmc, and i love it! you guys do great work, thanks!
anyway .. we are about to move house and i was thinking about my whole setup of our pc, xbox and stereo when it occured to me that if i hook up the xbox to the internet directly, it won't have a firewall on it.
my question is; is there a need to have one? surely i'm not the first to think of this if there is a need. what are your thoughts?

well all services running on your xbox (xbmc: ftp, http) will be visible from the internet. you can change ports and passwords but i still would recommend to use a router (firewall) between your xbox and the internet.
