allright, so i upgraded from a 120gb to a 250gb and am using a plain ole xecuter 2.3. i set the partitions on both so that partition 6 (f:) takes up all the remaining space. everything seems to be fine but i am wondering if there is any harm in this. a)does this piss off any games? b)or is it just fine and i just can't lock the drive (which is ok with me). are there any other effects of this setup that i need to worry about?

searched around xbox-scene and couldn't find much. didn't bother searching here....sorry mods

thanks for any help

nope.. you should be fine.. providing youre not using an old bios which cant take more than 137gig on the f.

i know a few guys with 250gig drives set up just like it. one with an xtender (3 drives in one case) using a tsop flash (no chip, if you are a n00b) had problems with it set up as xbmc as the dash. nothing wrong with xbmc mind you, its just it locked up a lot due to the size of the drive and small cache (his had 2mb), so the solution was to put 137gig on the f and the rest on the g.

you should be ok, just bear that in mind if you have problems.
