so in another topic i was asking for help in taking screenshots in higher quality. they said, to do that, i'd need to use the hdtv adapter kit for the xbox and plug it into an hdtv tv. so i went out and bought one of those along with an adapter so i could plug it into my monitor (pictured above). unfortunately, i had two male ends at that point, so i had to get a kvm switch box. so i have my computer and xbox with adapter plugged into the two inputs on the switch box and the monitor is plugged into the output of the switchbox. now the computer works fine, but when i switch over to the xbox, the monitor says "signal out of range." i messed around with the dip switch settings on the adapter, but i'll admit, i don't know what i'm doing. if anyone can offer any advice it would be great. i'm using one of the old 17" dell trintron monitors... so i don't even know if that supports 480p. thanks for any help that can be provided.
