hey, i was planning to host compiled xbmc (by me) on my website, i just wanna know if its legal or not? like could i get sued or is just up to my host provider to allow me too?
this is technically illegal since xbmc must be compiled using the xdk which is only available to developers. still i think it's highly unlikely you'll have any problems. it's up to you if you want to take the risk or not. i might use bittorrent to distribute your files so your host don't get upset by the spike in bandwidth.

thank you for replying . i torrented my url of my site. my host has unlimited bandwidth, but i think with all the bandwidth that im using, they probably change their bandwidth limit. if so ill just start torrenting the whole xbmc.

how can i make a torrent with multiple trackers?
i use azureus (http://azureus.sf.net/) to make multi-tracker torrents. it's also the best bt client imho. the process is pretty self-explanatory but if you have any quesrions let me know.

ok lets start this nicely.
1. talking about downloading and distributing xbmc is against the forum rules
2. how to use bittorrent is way offtopic.
so.... stop this converstaion please.
