Submit A Patch

It has become commonplace in the open-source community to say “patches welcome” and we’re no different. If you have stumbled upon a bug and squashed it or added a feature you would like to share, please visit our TRAC page and submit the patch so that we may review your changes and get them added to our codebase.

TRAC is the system that we use to keep up with bugs, feature requests, and patches. Please go there to submit your patch. Once submitted, please be patient and wait for review. We try to get to the tickets as quickly as possible, but it may be days or weeks before yours makes it to the top of our list.

Please note that you must be logged on to submit a ticket. Use your username and password from the forums. If you don’t have one you can register here.

Formatting Conventions

In order to keep the code easy to read, the developers are picky about formatting. Please read the patch guidelines and don’t be surprised if you are asked to make some cosmetics changes before review.
